Best way to look stylish AND cover a shiny forehead, right?

Over the weekend Ariana Grande was the latest celeb to get a fringe for the Summer and it makes us want one too! Hides a shiny forehead, high lights our eyes and if we’ve missed a threading session for our brows, those are covered too.

Fringes are a great update for your hair and a great way to get a whole new look! So after browsing our gallery, are you keen to try one? Well…

If you have an oval face shape, then this is the best face shape fringes. Get your hairdresser to cut a long and thick fringe that hangs just above your eyebrows.

If you have a square face shape, a long, thin and layered fringe works best.

If you have a round face then a ‘gringe’ is the best shape for you. It’s a long side-swept fringe that blends in with the rest of your hair and will help elongate your face.

Heart shaped face? Opt for a fringe that is slightly shorter in the centre and longer at the cheekbones. You can also rock a short side-swept fringe will draw attention away from your chin and towards your eyes.

Long faced? Then a fringe that’s long and straight fringe that stops just above your eyes will suit you most.

You can always fake the fringe before you take the scissors to your hair with these simple steps:

  1. Tie your hair up in a high pony.
  2. Drag your hair up over the top of your head so it falls to the front of your face.
  3. Use your free hand to spread and style your chosen fringe type.
  4.  And there you have it, a fringe!

Take a look at these fringed beauties and maybe take our Pinterest board of fringes along to your next salon appointment too.
