Writing for Lena Dunham‘s feminist newsletter Lenny, J-Law discusses the time she ‘found out how much less I was being paid than the lucky people with d*cks’ in the wake of last year’s Sony hack.

Bluntly and brilliantly, she details how not wanting to come across as ”difficult’ or ‘spoiled’ contributing to her not negotiating as hard as her male counterparts, asking: ‘Are we [women] socially conditioned to behave this way? … Could there still be a lingering habit of trying to express our opinions in a certain way that doesn’t “offend” or “scare” men?’

She went on to say: ‘”I’m over trying to find the ‘adorable’ way to state my opinion and still be likable! F**k that.’

You go, girl!

Jen also references the naming of Angelina Jolie in emails sent by Sony exec Scott Rudin, writing: ‘This might have NOTHING to do with my vagina, but I wasn’t completely wrong when another leaked Sony email revealed a producer referring to a fellow lead actress in a negotiation as a “spoiled brat.”

‘For some reason, I just can’t picture someone saying that about a man.’

#Truth.

Still, it’s not the first time that Jennifer has shown that she’s SO much more than a pretty face with her right-on words. Here’s 6 times the actress has proved she’s totally awesome…

1. When she called out women who b*tch about other women

‘When I watch these shows and the media and I watch the women on these televisions shows pointing to these women and judging them and calling them ugly and calling them fat, it’s just like, where have we come? Why are we here? Why are we doing this to each other?” she said on Access Hollywood. ‘Men were doing it hundreds of years ago and now we’ve turned around [and] we’re doing it to each other.’

2. When she tripped over in front of the WORLD at the Oscars in 2013

And then simply shrugged it off. No big deal. WHATEVER.

3. When she commented on Kate Moss’s ‘nothing tastes as good as skinny feels’ quote

And said THIS: ‘I can think of a lot of things that taste better than skinny feels – potatoes, bread, a Philly cheesesteak and fries.’

Want to come round ours for dinner, J-Law? We’ll serve all the carbs.

4. When she refused to be ashamed of the nude photo scandal – and turned the shame around on anyone who looked at the snaps

By telling Vanity Fair: ‘I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for. I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you.

‘It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime,” she added. ‘It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting. Anybody who looked at those pictures, you’re perpetuating a sexual offense. You should cower with shame.’

5. When she had THIS message for young girls at the 2014 Golden Globes

‘Be strong. Don’t be a follower, and always do the right thing. If you have a choice between the right thing and the wrong thing, the right way is always the less stressful.’

Girl power.

5. When she reminded us that just because you’re successful, it doesn’t mean you can go on a power trip

‘Success doesn’t mean that you’re allowed to work less and treat people like sh*t,’ she told The Telegraph in 2013.

6. When she rep’d for body confidence

‘I like the way I look,’ Jen told Flare in 2011, adding: ‘I’d rather look a little chubby on camera and look like a person in real life than look great on screen and look like a scarecrow in real life.’

God, we love her!
