Jeez! Coronation Street's Catherine Tyldesley's pregnancy belly is so big it gets in the way of her watching TV
It is, quite simply, MASSIVE.
On Sunday night, the 31-year-old Corrie lady took to Twitter, posting a funny snap of herself on the sofa. In the pic, Catherine’s head can be seen protruding over her ginormous bump.
Next to the photo she wrote:
‘Can just about see the telly… #bumptakeover’.
Naww, we LOVE Catherine’s down to earth attitude. Plus, how gorge does she look without any make-up on and a pair of sexy specs!?
Catherine also posted a hilarious snap of her boyfriend Tom Pitfield rubbing her feet, with the caption:
‘Maintenance level may have risen slightly… #footrub @TP_PTfitness #getthiskidout!!’
Obviously with that hashtag, Catherine is desperate for her lil’ bubba to be born!
This is Catherine’s first child with Tom, 27.
Since January, the actress, who plays Eva Price on the popular ITV soap, has been on maternity leave. In fact, on Monday evening, Catherine’s final scenes were aired, which showed Eva leaving the street as she traveled to France to visit her Grandma.
Throughout her pregnancy, Corrie bosses used clever techniques to disguise Catherine’s ever growing bump. Large coats, strategically placed hang bags and upper body shots made sure that viewers were totally unaware of her baby belly.
Catherine has certainly been making the most of her time off work. In a bid to keep active, the expectant mother recently revealed her pregnancy workout method.
‘Well even though I’m waddling – I’m still trying to keep that muscle memory going! Been going on some lovely country walks (with several pit-stops to rest!! Quite a change from our usual caffeine fuelled hill-sprints!!),’ explained Catherine.
The gorgeous blonde has also gushed about her feeling towards motherhood. She said: ‘I have felt strongly that being a mother is something I am supposed to do and when I met Tom I absolutely knew that he was the right person. It feels like the right time.’
