The supermodel, Kate Moss, is still tearing it up at 41-years-old as it's revealed she was removed from an EasyJet plane...
From snorting a susbstance that looked like cocaine to rowdy behaviour on a plane, Kate Moss is never far from controversy. Love her or hate her, life is never dull for the 41-year-old supermodel and this week she landed herself in a spot of bother when she flew back from celebrating Sadie Frost’s 50th birthday.
According to reports the mum-of-one was escorted from a flight by police after reportedly calling the pilot a ‘basic b—-‘ and drinking vodka she had stowed in her hand luggage.
Officers were called to the meet the easyJet flight at Luton Airport following reports that Kate was being ‘disruptive’. Thankfully, no complaints were made and Kate wasn’t arrested.
It got us thinking about Kate Moss’ most controversial moments so we we’ve decided to share them with you.
Kate was taken off a flight from Bodrum, Turkey, by police on Sunday for ‘disruptive behaviour’.
Airline staff called cops during the journey who were waiting for Kate when the plane landed at Luton airport.
Kate had been staying at a plush detox centre the LifeCo Clinic in Bodrum, where she had been celebrating best friend Sadie Frost‘s 50th birthday celebrations. The star endured her favourite skin treatment – freezing cold cryotherapy saunas – little surprise her behaviour was so frosty on the flight!
The airline said: ‘EasyJet can confirm police met flight EZY2232 from Bodrum to London Luton due to the behaviour of a passenger.’
Bedfordshire Police said: ‘We were called to assist staff in escorting a passenger from a flight. The passenger had been reported as being disruptive. No formal complaints were made and she was not arrested.’
Kate’s naughty behaviour on planes seems to have pattern.
Last July she was seen at Bodrum airport by other holidaymakers who accused her of being drunk.
Taking to social media at the time one person tweeted: ‘Seen Kate Moss drunk in the airport.’
Another wrote: ‘Just got off my flight with a very drunk Kate Moss.’
Kate was accused at the time of trying to get on the flight without a ticket but later a source denied this, saying: ‘The general consensus was that she didn’t have a ticket but after chatting to the manager for some time she was whisked off and ushered on to a flight. It was pretty obvious that Kate had had a bit to drink as she was talking loudly and didn’t seem worried about being seen.’
In November 1998, she checked in for rehab at The Priory clinic amid rumours of a drug habit, although she said it was because she had ‘partied too hard’.
Ten years ago the supermodel was splashed on the tabloids which published a photo of her with a substance that looked like cocaine. At the time she was dating rocker Pete Doherty.
At first there was outrage and some brands dropped her from their campaigns, but Kate bounced back and a year later made a whopping £30million landing contracts for the likes of Burberry, Louis Vuitton and Calvin Klein.
In 2011 Kate was vilified for lighting up a cigarette on the catwalk during a Marc Jacobs show at Paris Fashion Week.
Critics rounded on her for glamorising smoking and campaigners said: ‘Smoking is not cool or fashionable.’
In 2012 Kate managed to offend Christian groups when she dressed up like the Virgin Mary for W magazine.
Jamie Hince’s wife wore a Vera Wang silk lace dress, an Erdem habit, and Hollywood vintage lace for the fashion bible’s Spring cover.
