Love-split Alex hits back at cruel rumours about Chantelle's baby
They’re already going through the pain of a break-up.
The hurtful allegations have distressed the former couple as they try to cope with their separation.
And Alex, 37, tells Now he’ll do whatever it takes to prove that the sensational rumours are nothing but lies.
He says: ‘Those rumours are hurting me and I’m absolutely disgusted.’
He’s even offered to take a DNA test.
‘I can prove it if I need to,’ he says.
‘I’ll go for anyone who says I’m not Dolly’s father.’
The rumours first started when Chantelle, 29, fell pregnant just three months into their relationship.
Alex’s ex-wife Jordan, 34, had publicly told how she’d struggled to get pregnant while they were married, despite having three children from her previous relationships.
She revealed they’d spent eight months trying naturally and then went through two rounds of IVF.
That led to cruel speculation about Alex’s ability to father children – although he went on Twitter to claim he had ‘above average sperm production’.
Now, since splitting with Chantelle on 7 September, he’s found himself having to fend off the false rumours again.
Speaking of the latest allegations, Alex rages: ‘I’m one million per cent certain Dolly’s mine.
‘People say these things to make money.’
He also stressed that he’d had a fantastic sex life with Chantelle until just before the split, revealing: ‘Well, she’d just had a baby.’
‘We had a fantastic love life. Had.’
Alex also previously told Now that both he and Chantelle need to seek professional help and added that he wanted them to make peace for Dolly’s sake.
Chantelle’s spokesman didn’t want to comment on the cruel and untrue rumours.
‘[Alex] said last week he’s prepared to have a DNA test to prove Dolly is his but no one has ever heard any “rumours” saying she wasn’t,’ says Chantelle.
