Cage fighter Alex Reid opens up to Now's Editor At Large Dan Wootton about the fallout from his split
Almost three weeks since Chantelle, 29, called the police on him – resulting in a traumatic night in a cell – the cage fighter is officially single.
Alex, 37, says he now wants to focus on their three-month-old daughter Dolly – but that’s proving tricky.
‘Chantelle‘s said I can see Dolly at any time – but only if she’s there,’ he tells Now‘s Editor At Large Dan Wootton.
‘I’ve told her we have to speak about that because I’m going to want to take Dolly. Not away from her, but for a day…
‘She isn’t happy about that. She wants to be there at all times.
‘She doesn’t trust me with Dolly because she does pretty much everything for her. But I’m more than capable of caring for her.’
Alex – who admits: ‘Yeah [I’m single], but I’m not on the market’ – is hoping he can work something out regarding Dolly with Chantelle.
‘I don’t want it to get to that stage [fighting for custody],’ he adds.
‘Dolly won’t want for anything. She’ll grow up educated, kind and cultured.’
