She was NOT on the front row at brother-in-law Kanye West's fashion show - and that's just one of Kendall Jenner's many family problems...
With designers desperate to dress her, A-list men falling over themselves to date her and the best girl squad imaginable, Kendall Jenner‘s life is one big fairytale – right?
Well, maybe – but it seems that all is not be well in the 19-year-old model’s personal life after a very public family snub.
Key members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan congregated in New York yesterday to watch Kanye West‘s latest Yeezy collection at New York Fashion Week.
And whilst Mrs Kanye – AKA Kim Kardashian – sat front row with daughter North on her knee, alongside sisters Khloe and Kourtney, Kendall was seated to the SECOND row.
Pictures quickly appeared on social media that clearly showed the brunette beauty watching the show sat behind half-sister Kim and US Vogue editor Anna Wintour. AWKWARD.
And, whilst the incident on its own could perhaps be put down to bad planning on the part of Kanye’s team, it’s not the first indication that Kendall might be having trouble with her famous family.
The reality star turned model is thought to be licking her wounds after taking a pounding from her sisters – including younger sis Kylie Jenner – in the subscription figures of their just-launched digital platforms.
This week saw all the Kardashian-Jenner sisters (barring Kourtney) each release their very own website and accompanying app, giving users a unique insight into each woman’s personal world for a monthly fee.
And whilst Kylie’s site has gone down a storm, with 74% of the 891,340 people that signed up for the sites in the first 24 hours of release pledging their allegiance to Kyls, Kendall seemed to prove an unpopular choice, lagging behind with just SIX percent of sign-ups – behind both Khloe (11%) and Kim (9%).
We can only wonder what momager Kris Jenner makes of Kendall’s apparent lack of success – but it’s not just Kris that Kendall needs to worry about. Maybe, Caitlyn Jenner, wants to have a word with her after Kendall mistakenly referred to her as ‘he’?
Caitlyn has been known as ‘she’ since undergoing gender transition and announcing her new identity to the world with a Vanity Fair cover back in June.
But it looks as though Kendall hadn’t quite got to grips with the change when she was interviewed just one week after the magazine cover took the world by storm.
Speaking about her dad on the red carpet at the Fragrance Foundation Awards, Kendall said of the transition: ‘I think that he can honestly do so much good with everything and I’m excited for it. If he’s excited, I’m excited for him.’
Still, although her family life may be complicated right now, she can take solace in the fact that she’s killing it professionally.
Hot on the heels off new ad campaigns for the likes of Calvin Klein and Estée Lauder (for whom she’s designed her own shade of lipstick), Kendall has already walked in major shows during New York Fashion Week, including Givenchy and Diane Von Furstenberg.
So much for her Kardashian connection hurting her modelling career, as she once claimed…
