Very strong words from Mark...
The former TOWIE star gushed about his wife after an exciting second episode of the series on Wednesday night and spoke of how proud he was of her.
‘This one @michkeegan astounds me more every day….,’ Mark, 29, told his Twitter followers. ‘Truly sensational performance !!’
Awww. The strong words came after Mark posted an earlier message that hinted he was lost for words over 29-year-old Michelle’s performance as army medic Georgie Lane.
‘WOW WOW WOW !! #OurGirl unbelievable !!’ the actress’s hubby wrote.
And it sounds like Mark hasn’t been keeping his praise all to himself (and his 3million Twitter followers too, of course).
Michelle received lots of complimentary messages from viewers during the show – which saw Georgie get kidnapped by terrorists as well as coming face-to-face with the man who jilted her at the altar in the debut episode – and one was from none other than Mark’s mate Olly Murs.
‘Excited to see @michkeegan on #ourgirl @bbcone right now!! @MarkWright_ tells me tonight’s is better than last week..,’ the singer Tweeted.
Mark and Olly weren’t the only ones impressed by Michelle’s skills.
Other stars sung her praises on social media too, including Made In Chelsea’s Lucy Watson and Coronation Street’s Antony Cotton.
Michelle was flattered by the kind comments and told her fans: ‘Once again Thankyou SO much for all your amazing comments about Our Girl… I’m trying to ready them all. Means so much!’
Mark’s emotional words for his wife come after continued speculation about their marriage, with a source telling Now last week that the couple present a ‘carefully done’ public image.
Yet despite the rumours, the insider says that Michelle is determined to work at the marriage.
‘She’s a regular girl with no airs and graces,’ explains her pal. ‘She’s trying incredibly hard to work on their marriage and be a supportive wife.’
