The Duchess pined for her pup
Kate Middleton was missing an important member of her family during the recent royal tour of Australia and New Zealand – her pet dog Lupo.
The Duchess, 32, told a little girl in Canberra how she was pining for the pooch last week when the youngster presented her with a toy to take home for him.
Oh, thank you so much!’ a grinning Kate said.
Everyone is giving me presents for [Prince] George but this is the first present I’ve received for Lupo. Nobody knows how much I’m missing my own dog.
I really miss him. He’ll be so happy to have it to play with.’
Luckily Kate should now be reunited with her beloved pup after the three-week trip with Prince William and baby George came to an end on Friday.
The family were seen waving goodbye as they boarded a plane at the Fairnbairn RAAF base in Canberra.
