Crunch, pump and get jumping! This is how Beyonce really keeps her body looking uh-mazing

It’s time to put down that chocolate smothered digestive biscuit and grab some dumbbells, because Beyonce has FINALLY shown us her workout regime!

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of Let’s Move, First Lady Michelle Obama‘s national health initiative, Beyonce Instagrammed a video 15-second clip of herself working out in a gym to Eye of the Tiger.

In a black T-shirt and striped leggings, the make-up free singer, 33, works on her abs definition with standing side crunches followed by sit-ups made all the more challenging by a medicine ball.

Then in the super-speedy clip, she shows us some twists added to a series of jabs (dumbbells in hand) for another waist-whittling element while she tones her arms.

And how does she keep those pins so perfect? With a series of lunges done on a weight bench, legs movin’ side to side. And then some trusty floor lunges. She is quite simply…Flawless!

She has literally given us a step-by-step guide to how she gets that body and for that, Queen Bey, we are truly thankful.

Back in February 2010, Michelle Obama launched the Let’s Move! initiative – which aims to fight the childhood obesity epidemic by educating kids on a healthy lifestyle in the USA. The initiative stated that its mission was to solve ‘the challenge of childhood obesity within a generation so that children born today will reach adulthood at a healthy weight.’

The same day that Let’s Move! was announced, President Barack Obama signed a presidential memorandum creating the Task Force on Childhood Obesity to review and develop a plan of action.
Beyonce – who’s a good friend of the Obama’s and supported them through many campaigns – joined the First Lady on her mission shortly thereafter, and a video of her dancing with kids to Move Your Body in a school cafeteria quickly went viral.

It’s awesome. Watch it here…

The singer spoke out about her involvement with the movement (no pun intended!), saying, ‘I am excited to be part of this effort that addresses a public health crisis. First Lady Michelle Obama deserves credit for tackling this issue directly, and I applaud the NAB Education Foundation for trying to make a positive difference in the lives of our schoolchildren.’

Now, who’s with us to get that a body-so-bootilicious? Annnnd, lunge!
