Kate Middleton shows off her post-holiday glow and growing tum during a visit to Portsmouth
Kate Middleton‘s baby bump suddenly seems to have grown A LOT!
Pregnant Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, 33, didn’t shy away from showing off her increasingly large tum when she headed to Portsmouth for a royal engagement on Thursday.
Dressed in a chic white coat, Kate interlocked her hands under her large bump as she chatted to schoolchildren during a visit to the headquarters of Ben Ainslie Racing. She completed the look with a pair of stylish Jimmy Choo shoes.
The cream outfit also highlighted her gorgeously tanned skin following her recent holiday to the Caribbean island of Mustique with hubby Prince William and their one-year-old son Prince George. The family were joined by Kate‘s mum Carole, who had a 30-strong party in tow to help her celebrate her 60th birthday.
She might be just a couple of months away from her due date in April but Kate isn’t putting her feet up just yet. The Duchess smiled as she talked with the local children during the Portsmouth outing and then helped to paint a maritime-themed mural.
Her work was pretty impressive too – Kate added a boat carrying several sailors to the pretty piece of art AND managed not to get any blue paint on her pale coat. The girl’s got skills!
Apparently the doting mum is used to doing a bit of art at home. Fellow guests at the event said Kate revealed that she often paints with her son George – cute!
‘I was so worried about getting paint on her fantastic white coat,’ James Waterfield, an art teacher from Park Community School in Leigh Park, tells the Mirror.
‘She told me she was painting yesterday with baby George and she should have brought him down because he loves doing all of this.’ Oh yes, yes she should have done!
We’re not surprised that Kate‘s depiction of a boat was so good – the sporty royal has always enjoyed sailing and last year became a patron of the America’s Cup’s 1851 Trust, a charity aimed at encouraging youngsters to take up the hobby.
She certainly seemed to be having a good time in Portsmouth. As well as checking out the HQ of Ben Ainslie Racing, Kate took a trip up the Spinnaker Tower and later met up with people who have benefited from the work of the 1851 Trust.
