Look away now, CBB stars!
As the stars prepare to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house, we’re gearing up for what looks to be an explosive series with this VERY interesting line-up.
With an eclectic bunch of actors, reality stars and famous ex-spouses heading for the TV house, the CBB crew have got a whole lot of stories to tell – and some they might NOT want to come to light!
We’ve been digging up some of the housemates’ embarrassing pasts, ranging from bonkers videos and surreal TV shows to some pretty crazy makeovers. Enjoy!
Having gone under the name Chloe Mafia in previous years, this lady made her name on The X Factor in 2010 (and subsequently caused controversy when she was booted off following drugs allegations).
But this wasn’t her first taste of TV – in fact Chloe, 24, first popped up on BBC Three show Snog Marry Avoid? and underwent a seriously dramatic make under.
At the time Chloe was living in Wakefield with daughter Destiny and her baby’s dad Ian and declared herself to be a ‘full-time yummy mummy’ whose mission was to be ‘glamorous glamorous glamorous’.
This involved parading up and down the street in matching outfits to Destiny and wearing A LOT of fake tan. Yikes.
It’s all a far cry from her jet-setting lifestyle and surgically enhance appearance we see today.
Long before he was crowned King of the Jungle on 2007’s I’m A Celebrity, Biggins had a varied career across stage and screen.
One of his slightly more cringey ventures was 1980s kids’ gameshow On Safari, which saw him lead all sorts of surreal challenges around the animal-themed set.
There was even none other than EastEnders’ Gillian Taylforth, aka Kathy Beale, on hand to act as his assistant. It’s as bonkers as it sounds.
Whilst his little sister Ariana Grande is an award-winning singer, 33-year-old Frankie’s forays into the music video world haven’t been quite so slick.
The vlogger has released all sorts of clips on his YouTube channel and some make for slightly cringe viewing, such as Tinder-inspired anthem Left Swipe Dat. Be warned – this will be in your head ALL DAY.
She might not be that well-known to British viewers but CBB housemate Aubrey, 32, has had quite a past on US reality TV.
The blonde star found fame when she auditioned for P Diddy’s show Making The Band in 2004 and looked VERY different to how we see her now.
Eventually Aubrey made it into girl group Danity Kane and seemed to impress the team with her, um, ‘steak dancing’. Will she give a demo of this in the CBB house, we wonder?
There have been quite a few red-faced moments in Grant’s past. The 54-year-old and former wife Anthea Turner memorably sparked a backlash when they were snapped eating Flake bars in their glossy magazine wedding pictures, though Anthea denied that this was any sort of sponsorship deal with the chocolate company.
Grant then went on to fight Ricky Gervais in a bizarre televised charity boxing match in 2002 – and unexpectedly lost. Awks.
To make it all the more cringeworthy, Anthea is seen adoringly cheering him on from the sidelines. Probably not a favourite memory for either of them after their 2013 split.
