Jade Goodys husband sent down over assault
Jack Tweed has been sentenced to three months in prison.
Jade Goody‘s husband appeared at Harlow Magistrates’ Court today over an assault charge.
Last month, Jack, 21, was found guilty of attacking cabbie Stephen Wilkins in May 2008.
His lawyer Tania Panagiotopoulou told the court he’d matured since the offence.
‘To say that he is a changed man since May 2008 is perhaps an understatement,’ she said.
‘His previous routine of going out with his friends and getting drunk, like he did in May — all that has been replaced.’
Jack, 21, who is on parole for a separate conviction, had denied the charge.
