Son left out of George Best's will
Calum Best was only left a watch in his dad’s will.
Documents released yesterday revealed that football legend George Best’s entire £135,853 estate will go to his sister Barbara McNarry.
His only son was bequeathed an engraved 1994 Jean Lassel World Cup watch.
Calum, 25, has missed out on inheriting more because his dad hadn’t altered the will since March 2000.
At that point he was still married to Alex Best and when he divorced her she was automatically cut out. The bequest then switched to Barbara by default.
‘The watch is of special sentimental value which George wanted him to have,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘But apart from that he didn’t get a bean.’
