After six long weeks without so much as a peep from our favourite celebrity couple, fans feared the worst - but now Calvin has come out fighting with a rather sweary tweet

Forty-nine days into our Talvin Watch (that’s Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris Watch, obvs) and the couple have FINALLY responded to rumours suggesting that they’d broken up.

It’s been six long weeks since the couple were pictured together, which – considering they were PDA-ing all over the place when they first got together – is a really long time without any Talvin love.

But now Calvin has hit back at the splitsville rumours, branding them ‘bullsh*t’ – and threatening a lawsuit. Yikes!

Taking to Twitter, the Scottish superstar DJ posted: ‘It’s not going to be a ‘happy ending’ for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these bullshit stories bye bye.’

And, in a show of solidarity with her man, Taylor favourited the post – so we guess that means they’re still very much together. Hurrah!

Still, it’s no surprise that Talvin’s fans got a little worried that their favourite celebrity couple had headed to Splitsville.

As well as not being pictured together in *forever*, Calvin was hit with allegations that he’d been seen leaving a massage parlour – hence the ‘happy ending’ reference in his tweet.

But it seems as though their lack of together time is just down to hella-busy schedules, what with Calvin in the studio working on new music, and Tay Tay being slap-bang in the middle of her mega 1989 World Tour (not to mention landing covers with Vouge Australia and NME).

But she’s very much looking forward to spending some quality time with her man, with a source telling Hollywood Life in the US: ‘When she’s done this tour she wants to devote herself to other things in her life again, to being with her family, her friends and with Calvin.’

Aww, cute. And in the meantime, just follow Taylor’s advice, Calvin – shake it off!
