Charlotte admits her body hang-up has really affected her self-confidence
Former Geordie Shore star, Charlotte Crosby is no stranger to a little bit of cosmetic enhancement.
The 26-year-old underwent a £5,000 nose job last February after suffering years of insecurity, and has often spoken out about having regular lip injections – leading some fans to claim Char’s gone ‘too far’ with her new look.
But the fitness fanatic might not be done with surgery just yet, and has revealed the next thing she wants to change about herself… what she calls her ‘uni-boob’.
Opening up about her unusual body-hang up, Charlotte told OK!: ‘There is something that I feel under confident about. I don’t know whether I’d get it changed but I’ve been doing some research. It’s known as ‘the uni-boob’, but the actual term is symmastia.’
The star then explained: ‘It’s normally what happens when a boob job goes wrong. The breast tissue expands from the boob job and makes you not have the gap in your cleavage. But I haven’t had a boob job, I was one of the few unlucky people born with it.’
And it turns out Char’s symmastia has really affected her business as well as her self-confidence, as the CBB winner added: ‘When I’m designing my clothing collection the team have all these beautiful ideas where it’s low cut and I’m like ‘I can’t wear it’.
‘We always have to move the slit up. It didn’t used to bother us and I did used to wear low cut things but I got so many bad comments.’
How mean is that?!
While we’ve never noticed anything wrong with Char’s body at all (if you watch GShore you’ve probably seen A LOT of it) the star explained that she has ‘a fold of skin’ in between her breasts, adding: ‘It’s not a big operation they just do a little split, then they get the tissue lifted from the breast bone and stitch it up so that you’ve got that grove that you’re meant to have.’
And despite criticisms about her dramatic transformation in recent months, reality star boyfriend Stephen Bear is fully on board with Char’s quest to improve her self-confidence as he added: ‘If you’re unhappy with your nose and you get it done, afterwards you feel more confident and happy. Some people see a person being happy and they just want to run them down.’
