The Apprentice star had called Cheryl ‘too thin’ whilst watching The X Factor and she's not happy about it
The X Factor judge thinks Lord Sugar, 68, was ‘stupid’ to label her ‘too thin’ in a Tweet he posted last month and she’s keen not to rise to it.
‘I’ve got nothing to say to stupidity,’ says Cheryl, 32. ‘How do you answer stupidity?
‘With intelligence? If I cared I would be bothered.’
OUCH. It comes after The Apprentice star was criticised by many of Chezza’s fans for his Twitter remarks about her slender frame last month…
The businessman later downplayed the Tweet during an appearance on Loose Women, where he stressed that he gets on well with Cheryl – who once appeared on a celebrity edition of The Apprentice – and even said she’d attended his 60th birthday party.
Despite getting backlash from many for his weight comments, some Twitter users agreed with Lord Sugar’s concerns and many are worried about Cheryl.
Simon Cowell’s pal Sinitta recently claimed there was ‘a lot of pressure’ on the singer given her new role as an executive producer on X Factor but Chezza insists this isn’t the case.
‘Do I look like I’m under pressure?’ she told the Mirror. ‘I’m having the best time.’
We’re glad to hear it, Chezza! Instead of focusing on the talk about her body, Ms Fernandez-Versini is staying focused on the competition and this weekend her act Reggie N Bollie will perform in the final.
Whatever the result though Cheryl is keen to continue working with the boys.
‘I just want to be around them all the time. It’s infectious. You can’t help but smile,’ she explains.
‘I can’t let go of these two. We’re together now.’
The uplifting duo will go up against Louisa Johnson and Che Chesterman in the hope of being crowned this year’s X Factor winner.
