The show must go on for Chezza

Geordie golden girl Cheryl Cole has had to fly solo on her A Million Lights tour after her new man, backing dancer Tre Holloway, was forced to pull out after a knee injury.

‘Because he got injured it meant we had to change the whole routine,’ explains Cheryl, 29.

‘It was a nightmare, but we got through it.’

Cheryl introduced Tre, 27, to some of her family when she celebrated younger brother Garry Tweedy‘s birthday at the Rosa Mexicano restaurant in Hollywood, but she now has plans to introduce him to the rest of her clan when her tour finishes at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on 17 October.

‘All of my family will be there so it’ll be an amazing night,’ she says.

‘It’s always great to come home.

‘I haven’t had a break for nine years and I’m exhausted.’
