The children's star tied the knot last weekend despite the 59 year age gap

If you grew up in the 90’s you’ll probably remember watching ChuckleVision – the kids TV show which brought fame to clumsy brothers, Paul and Barry Elliott and gave us the phrase ‘to me to you’.

But you might not have realised there were actually two older Chuckle Brothers – Jimmy and Brian – both of whom regularly appeared on the show themselves.

Well, almost eight years since the last episode aired (it ran for 21 series’!) now Jimmy has got people talking for a whole different reason after it was revealed he’s tied the knot with a 26-year-old fan he met on Facebook – despite a 59 YEAR age gap.

And it seems like none of the family are bothered about the six decade age gap as Amy’s mum Mary, 65, has spoken out about how proud she is of her daughter.

‘The age gap doesn’t bother them or us at all. It’s love- so it doesn’t matter,’ she said.

‘Amy is happy and so are we. We are delighted and very proud.’

And although Chuckle brothers Barry, 72, and Paul, 69, were not at the wedding – there were a few famous faces as Mary added: ‘Bobby Dennis the comedian came and so did Bernie Clifton. They are Jimmy’s mates and they both did speeches- they had everyone in fits of laughter.’

Jimmy is said to have asked for permission to marry Amy from her 70-year-old dad John, who told The Sun they were all up dancing until the early hours, adding: ‘They did their vows in a lake side room then we had a meal, speeches and danced to a disco. It finished at about 12.30pm

‘It was a really happy day- it was quite emotional- Amy looked beautiful. We were very proud.’

AW! The happy couple are planning on jetting away for a sun-kissed honeymoon in Gran Canaria soon – congrats, guys!
