Singer Adele can't wait for the track to be released

Adele was thrilled to be asked to co-write and record the theme for new James Bond film Skyfall.

The pregnant singer was hesitant to take the job at first because she thought it might be too much pressure, but says it ended up being a ‘no-brainer’ after she fell in love with the movie’s script.

‘When we recorded the strings, it was one of the proudest moments of my life,’ says Adele, 24.

‘I’ll be back combing my hair when I’m 60 telling people I was a Bond girl back in the day, I’m sure!’

Adele has become so engrossed in the Bond world that she’s planning a visit to author Ian Fleming‘s Jamaican home.

She’s keen to spend time at the cliff-top cottage in Oracabessa – where Ian wrote his novels – after she gives birth to the child she’s expecting with partner Simon Konecki.

‘She came across Ian Fleming‘s house when she was researching the spy series and now has her heart set on going there,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘Whether it’ll be suitable for her and a new baby, who knows, but she at least wants to visit.’
