The skating show took Anthea's mind off reports that Grant was unfaithful

Anthea Turner has revealed that Dancing On Ice helped her get over allegations that her husband Grant Bovey had cheated on her.

The presenter was voted off the ITV show on Sunday night but she wasn’t too upset because she felt it had already saved her marriage.

Dancing On Ice was at the right time for me. I think sometimes if you have too much time on your hands, you spend too much time thinking,’ says Anthea, 52.

‘So actually the skating was fabulous because you have to concentrate on it and it did it for me.’

Anthea threw Grant, 51, out of their Surrey home after he was accused of having a fling with 24-year-old blonde Zoe de Mallet Morgan in July.

She agreed to take him back two months later when they flew to Mauritius for a make-up holiday.

‘Our field was given a returf. Relationships go through difficult times. I don’t know anybody who has a clean run,’ says Anthea.

‘You can’t be narrow-minded about it. We talk and don’t make knee jerk reactions because you can’t go back on them.’
