Simon's re-thinking his home's security system
Simon Cowell was left ‘shaken up’ after a woman allegedly broke into his London home by smashing a brick through the window.
The intruder wandered around Simon‘s home before walking in to the shocked music mogul’s bedroom.
‘Obviously it was a very frightening thing to happen,’ Simon‘s spokesman Max Clifford tells the Daily Star.
‘Simon will now have to reassess security at the property.’
Britain’s Got Talent boss Simon lives in a £9m luxury house in West London’s exclusive Holland Park which is surrounded by tall fences and hi-tech gates.
The 52-year-old is reported to have been watching himself on TV at the time of the break in.
‘We were called to reports of a disturbance at 10.35pm on Saturday at a residential address in West London,’ a Met police spokesman confirms.
‘Officers arrived to find a woman who had forced entry to the property.
‘She was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to a West London police station for questioning.’
A 29-year-old woman has now been charged with aggravated burglary.
