High Life isn't available to buy in shops

Benedict Cumberbatch has some pretty die-hard fans.

Devoted Cumberbitches have entered an eBay bidding war for a copy of a British Airways in-flight magazine with the actor on the cover, which was free for the airline’s customers.

High Life can’t be bought in shops so 10 copies are currently up for auction, with the most expensive selling for £30 and others going for more than £20.

Benedict, 37, is seen looking sexy wrapped up in a smart blue jacket, black gloves and a scarf as he stares fiercely into the camera on the publication’s front page.

Inside, he dons a form-fitting ribbed jumper to try ice driving with a sports car in Finland and shows off his thoughtful side as he casually gazes out onto the snow.

It seems Benedict enjoyed getting to grips with the speedy vehicle.

‘I’m not a macho alpha male sort of guy but I do like living on the edge a bit,’ Benedict tells High Life.

‘I like skydiving, snowboarding, kite surfing and I ride a motorbike in London.’
