The ladies' man started going bald at 23

Calum Best has revealed that he’s spent £8,000 on a hair transplant.

The reality star was embarrassed after he started to go bald at 23, which he puts down to using peroxide too much in his teens and tying his locks back into a tight ponytail throughout his early 20s.

‘You drop your head to look at your phone and you are thinking all the time: “Are they looking at my bald spot?”‘ says Calum, 31, who’s always been a babe magnet.

‘It really affects your confidence. You find it hard to concentrate fully, because you are worried that they will be noticing your hair.’

Calum‘s expensive procedure involved having 1,850 individual hairs moved from the side of his head to the front.

Footballer Wayne Rooney had his own new ‘do last year and proudly told the world.

‘Baldness can shatter a man’s confidence,’ surgeon Dr Shahmalak tells the Daily Mail.

Wayne being so open showed there was no stigma attached to getting treatment.’
