The TV host has her bag searched by security

Caroline Flack endured a rather awkward experience at the airport yesterday.

The TV presenter, 34, was flying from London to Glasgow ahead of Radio 1’s Big Weekend and told her Twitter followers that security staff had checked some private items in her bag.

‘British Airways do like a good rummage through your underwear don’t they…. HOPE YOU LIKED MY PANTS ,’ Tweeted Caroline.

Caroline joined Twin Atlantic‘s Sam McTrusty on pal Nick Grimshaw‘s Radio 1 breakfast show this morning, which was broadcast live from the Scottish city.

She uploaded a cute Instagram snap of the trio posing in the studio.

British Airways were quick to check Caroline was happy with their customer service after she posted her funny message but she insists she wasn’t bothered that people had seen her kecks.

‘Hi Caroline, please email us and we can look in to this for you,’ Caroline was Tweeted from the official British Airways account.

Caroline replied: ‘haha. I’m not complaining! It’s good that you check. .’

The company seemed pleased that Caroline wasn’t annoyed, writing: ‘Thats ok then! Just wanted to make sure.’
