Cheryl drops ex-husband Ashley's moniker

Cheryl Cole has officially changed her name to Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

The singer, 31, drew speculation that she’d dropped Cole from her moniker yesterday after re-branding herself Cheryl on Twitter and changing her account to CherylOfficial.

Now it’s been confirmed that she’s taken her new husband Jean-Bernard‘s surname.

Cheryl revealed on Sunday that she’d secretly married Jean-Bernard, 33, a few days earlier, with their ceremony taking place on the Caribbean island of Mustique.

It’s been reported that the stunning rings restaurant owner Jean-Bernard bought Cheryl are worth around £300,000 and that their nuptials could have cost £500,000 according to the Daily Record.

Cotton House – the Mustique venue Cheryl is believed to have chosen – boasts a villa that costs £11,000 per week and comes with a butler, chef, housekeeper and gardener.

Whatever the price of her big day, Ashley Cole‘s ex told fans that she’s ‘very happy’ with her second hubby at the weekend and is clearly touched to have received congratulatory comments online.

‘Thank you for all your kind messages and well wishes ❤️,’ Tweeted Cheryl yesterday.
