The actor developed Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder as a child

Daniel Radcliffe has spoken out about the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder he’s suffered from since the the age of 5.

Daniel, 22 – whose latest film The Woman In Black is the highest grossing British horror movie of the last 20 years – says it used to take him 5 minutes to turn off a light.

‘I had to repeat every sentence I said under my breath,’ says Daniel.

Daniel was referred to a therapist and his condition is now under control.

He says other OCD sufferers should never feel ashamed about seeking help.

‘I would encourage everyone to undergo therapy. It doesn’t mean you’re insane or weak,’ Daniel tells The Sun.

‘I haven’t had it this year so far and I’m missing it.’
