The Hollywood star accuses country's president of provoking humanitarian crisis
George Clooney has been arrested during a demonstration outside the Sudanese Embassy in Washington.
The Hollywood actor and his fellow protestors – reportedly including his dad, Nick – were given 3 verbal warnings not to cross the police line before they were lead off in handcuffs and taken into custody.
‘We are here really to ask two very simple questions,’ George, 50, said shortly before his arrest, according to
‘The first question is something immediate – and immediately we need humanitarian aid to be allowed into the Sudan before it becomes the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
The second, he said, ‘is for the government in Khartoum to stop randomly killing its own innocent men, women and children. Stop raping them and stop starving them.’
It seems George‘s girlfriend, former wrestler Stacy Keibler is unaware of the drama.
‘The mixture of surrealistic Gaudi & the gothic old city, Barcelona is one of the most beautiful untouched places I’ve been to. Love it here!’ Stacy, 32, Tweeted this afternoon.
