The boys get enthusiastic welcome in France

One Direction were mobbed by fans when they arrived into Paris’ Gare Du Nord train station yesterday – and the experience really took it out of them.

Harry Styles Tweeted photos of his band mates fast asleep on the Eurostar back to London after the ordeal, which saw the boys holding on to their bodyguards to keep safe as they pushed through the crowds.

‘Hahaha Liam lost his shoe in the station. That was crazy!! Thanks for coming to see us,’ Harry, 18, Tweeted before uploading the cute pictures of Niall Horan, and Liam Payne, both 18, plus Zayn Malik, 19, and Louis Tomlinson, 20, on their way home.

A 1D follower described the scene at the station as ‘terrifying’, while others messaged the boys to check they were OK.

And it seems Niall was a little shaken by the incident.

‘All directioners united..everyone stick together! we’re all in this together.. wohoo,’ Tweeted Niall.

‘If i ever look nervous..its coz i hate tight spaces..but dont worry , its all cool on my ends.

‘These things happen..part of what its about..it was really cool today in paris, and as directioners always do ..come out in hundreds..’
