The TV star's brother is 'lucky to be alive'
Josie Gibson is very grateful to the medical team who treated her brother Josh after he was run over at the weekend.
The Big Brother winner, 29, took to Twitter on Sunday to tell the team how much she appreciated their expertise following the terrifying incident.
‘Big thank you to all the doctors and nurses at southmead hospital tonight. You are truly amazing people. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you x,’ Tweeted Josie.
She wrote to a pal: ‘Josh got hit by a taxi at 45 mph. Lucky to be alive xx.’
It’s been a difficult year for Josie’s family – at her 29th birthday party in January, her younger sibling Harry was attacked and suffered nose injuries.
A number of men reportedly approached Harry for directions but allegedly lashed out at him when he began to reply in sign language.
‘Lost all faith in man kind tonight. I went to the toilet and my brother
got beaten up for being deaf!!! What a disgusting world we live in!’ Tweeted Josie at the time.
‘Im going to hunt the bullies who did this! The nicest guy ever was beaten up because they thought he was deaf & dumb.’
