The couple happily pose for snaps

Kate Middleton and Prince William thrilled fans by posing for selfies in Sydney yesterday.

The royals appeared in a number of shots after touching down in the city, where they’re staying at the residence of the Queen‘s official Australian representative for five days.

They both got into photos with Nina Kiwarkis, who’s awaiting a heart and lung transplant.

Wills, 31, grinned broadly into the camera while Kate, 32 – who looked stunning in a yellow midi dress – was caught off-guard and seemed to be mid-conversation.

‘I thought William would say no but he didn’t. He wished me well,’ an ecstatic Nina, 52, told the Mail Online.

Kate peered into the lens as she was pictured with excited devotee Marian Khamis before getting snapped unwittingly by student Chloe Skafte.

This isn’t the first time Kate has taken a selfie on her and WillsRoyal Tour – last week, an image of her with a fan in Christchurch, New Zealand was dubbed the #bestselfieever on Twitter.

The couple arrived at Sydney International Airport with baby son Prince George and were taken to the Sydney Opera House for an official reception.

Kate joked to waiting well-wishers that William told her she looked like a banana in her frock.
