The Royal pair are filling out their home

Kate Middleton and Prince William are mum and dad to a 3-month old cocker spaniel.

The couple’s new addition is believed to come from a litter bred by Kate‘s mum Carole and is settling in at their rented home in Anglesey.

‘He is a private pet and they do not want his name to be made public although the couple are happy to confirm that they do, indeed, have a new dog,’ says a spokesman at St James’s Palace.

Kate, 30, and William, 29, are said to have had the puppy since December.

‘I don’t know whether the Middleton family dog is a boy or a girl,’ an aide tells Mail Online.

‘But the Duke and Duchess’ puppy is the result of the family dog breeding with one belonging to another breeder.’
