Pip poses with a bone

Michelle Keegan‘s dog Pip is very protective of her food.

The ex-Coronation Street actress, 27, shared a super-cute snap yesterday of the fluffy Chihuahua lying down with her head resting on a bone-shaped snack.

‘Well, there’s no one getting to that bone tonight is there?!’ Michelle jokily captioned the shot.

Michelle – who played Tina McIntyre on Corrie until being killed off in June – is a big pooch lover and also has a sausage dog named Phoebe.

Unfortunately for the creatures, they now have to share Michelle with her fiancé Mark Wright.

Stockport-born Michelle moved into her new Essex home with ex-TOWIE star Mark, 27, last week and is very excited about their first place together.

‘Don’t get me wrong, Manchester will always be my home…,’ writes Michelle in her Hello! blog.

‘I love the city, the people, the night-life, the culture, the Mancunian accent and the wicked northern sense of humour! However, it’s time for a new chapter in my life.

‘I have never lived away from Manchester so I’m delighted to be moving to Essex.’
