The couple are really enjoying perfecting their pad

Michelle Keegan is having lots of fun decorating her and Mark Wright‘s new Essex place.

The actress, 27, has been busy working in various places recently but popped back to the house earlier this month when Mark’s younger sister Natalya threw a 14th birthday bash nearby.

‘It was nice to get back to the house in Essex again,’ writes Michelle in her Hello! blog.

‘We are really enjoying making it our home.’

Mark, 27, has been getting to grips with the pad’s garden – Michelle shared a snap of the ex-TOWIE hunk hosing the grass, joking that he looked ‘very pleased with himself’.

It isn’t the first time Mark’s helped out outdoors over the past few days.

Last week, the kind star joined the Now team to volunteer for a very special charity project at Little Havens children’s hospice in Essex.

Mark joined celebs including Union J, TOWIE‘s Ferne McCann and The X Factor‘s Sam Callahan to work with Greenfingers,

a UK charity that creates magical gardens in hospices.

He was very moved while helping out and is fronting our campaign to raise money for Greenfingers.

‘You can take so much for granted in your own life,’ Mark tells us.

‘But when you visit the hospice and meet the families, children and staff, you’re really inspired by their positivity, despite the often challenging times they’re going through.’
