The singer credits Emily for settling their daughter

Peter Andre is very happy that his daughter Amelia has developed a good sleeping pattern.

The singer, 41, was averaging six hours of broken slumber each night shortly after his fiancée Emily MacDonagh gave birth in January but their baby is now much more settled.

‘She is a dream child at the moment and is sleeping all the way through. Credit to her mum for getting her into such a good routine!’ says Peter.

‘So I’m getting all the rest I need apart from the odd night.’

Peter took a short spell of paternity leave after Amelia‘s arrival but he’s now back presenting daytime show 60 Minute Makeover and promoting his new album Big Night.

He’s set to head out on a UK tour this September.

Pete really misses Amelia and his older kids Junior, 8, and Princess, 6 – whose mum is his ex-wife Katie Price – when he’s working but knows how important it is to provide for his brood.

‘I think a lot of working parents [feel guilty]. But I’ve come to the realisation that before I had children, everything I did work-wise was for my selfish reasons,’ says Peter.

‘But now, everything I do is for my children. It’s hard leaving them to go out to work but I’m doing this for our future as a family.’
