Duchess of Cambridge has a busy day today

Kate Middleton chose an above-the-knee coat for her trip to London’s ‘luxury hamper’ store Fortnum & Mason today.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who was joined by the Queen and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, teamed her blue jacket with grey heels and a St David’s Day daffodil brooch.

The Queen, 85, Camilla, 64, and Kate, 30, unveiled a plaque in the store, which marks Piccadilly’s regeneration.

Busy Kate has now moved on to her next engagement, which requires her to make a speech in honour of World Book Day.

‘The Biggest Book Show on Earth begins today as part of @WorldBookDayUK – The Duchess of Cornwall will make a speech,’ Tweets Clarence House.

‘The Duchess of Cornwall is patron of a number of organisations that
promote literacy including @booktrust @Literacy_Trust @FirstStory.’
