Harry shows his caring side
Prince Harry made a young fan very happy yesterday when he gave her a cuddle in the street.
The royal, 29, shook eight-year-old Olivia Hancock‘s hand before bending down to hug her outside the BBC studios in London.
Leicestershire girl Olivia – whose pretty red hair matched Harry’s famous ‘do – looked delighted as Harry posed for a few snaps with her.
Harry was at the studios to pre-record an interview about the Invictus Games, a Paralympic-style event being held for injured servicemen and women.
He launched the initiative earlier this year after seeing a British team perform at America’s equivalent Warrior Games in Colorado in 2013.
The multi-national contest will include athletics, road cycling and swimming and is taking place at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in September.
Foo Fighters have been booked to headline the closing ceremony while acts such as Ellie Goulding, Kaiser Chiefs, The Vamps, Rizzle Kicks and Diversity are also performing.
Harry is a big sports fan and has attended a variety of events at Glasgow’s Commonwealth Games this week with brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton.
