The actor thinks the MTV show is a great watch

Robert Pattinson has revealed himself as an unlikely fan of Geordie Shore.

The actor, 28 – who played Edward Cullen in the Twilight film saga – always enjoys tuning into the Newcastle gang’s drunken antics when he gets the chance.

‘I like Geordie Shore. It’s like the Jersey Shore of England,’ says Rob.

‘It’s amazing, one of the greatest TV shows I have ever seen in my entire life.’

London-born Rob currently lives in America but still has a fondness for British reality television.

His admission comes a year after he let slip that he watches The X Factor and was hoping that Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell would return, which they now have.

It seems as though the hunky star wouldn’t mind hanging out with Geordie Shore favourites Vicky Pattison, Charlotte Crosby and Gary Beadle in the Toon.

‘It’s not really laughing at people because I don’t really like that kind of reality TV,’ Rob tells MTV.

‘The people in it, you genuinely really like them, it’s crazy.’
