1D fans in turmoil after news of Birmingham smash

One Direction were treated by paramedics for neck injuries on Wednesday night after they were involved in an accident on one of Birmingham’s busiest roads.

Harry Styles, 17, Louis Tomlinson, 20, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne, all 18, had just performed a gig in the city as part of their Up All Night tour.

‘Guys, thanks for all you messages. We were involved in a really minor accident – we are all absolutely fine!’ Tweeted Niall, much to the relief of their worried fans.

Police and ambulance crews were called after a car rammed into the back of the boys’ tour bus.

Three members of the band complained of severe headaches and spinal pain and so 1D were advised to cancel last night’s concert in Plymouth – but they went ahead with it anyway.

‘Amazing show 🙂 time to leaveeeeeee !!’ Tweeted Louis, seemingly unaffected by the drama.
