Singer reported to have felt her time was coming

Whitney Houston talked about meeting Jesus soon before she died.

The singer is reported to have told pals, in a series of conversations, that she felt her ‘time was coming’ and ‘sensed her end was near’.

Whitney, 48, who was found slumped in the bath in her Beverly Hilton Hotel suite on Saturday, is said to have confided in a friend: ‘I’m gonna go see Jesus. I want to see Jesus.

‘You know, he’s so cool. I really want to see that Jesus.’

Whitney‘s funeral will be held this weekend at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey, and is expected to be streamed live on television and the web.

It is the church Whitney attended with mum Cissy Houston, 78, who is devastated by her daugher’s passing.

‘Her heart is broken. Nobody expects to bury her child,’ says pastor Joe Carter.
