David Beckham would love to own a Miami soccer team

It’s become increasingly clear that Victoria Beckham misses America.

Posh adores California and recently shared a rare pic of herself smiling as she posed by the Hollywood sign during a family break.

She also Tweeted: ‘So good to be back in LA.’

But it’s thought David, 38, has his heart set on the prestige that’d come with owning a Major League Soccer team in Miami.

Posh, 39, will support her man’s decision and also realises the city’s large Spanish-speaking population
could open doors for her fashion empire in Latin America.

If the Beckhams decide to make a base in Miami Beach, Casa Casuarina – the OTT Versace mansion on Ocean Drive – would make a fabulous home for the couple and kids Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, Cruz, eight, and Harper, two.

Last year, the current owners unsuccessfually tried to sell the property for a huge £82 million.

The Beckhams are believe to be considering an offer.

Built in 1930, Casa Casuarina has 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a 24-carat gold-lined pool and an observatory with a bar.

Although he only lived there for five years until his death, Gianni Versace spent £21.5 million on renovations.
