Uh-oh - Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has a tough warning for Peter Andre

Peter Andre got off to an amazing start in Strictly Come Dancing. Not only was he the bookies’ favourite before it had even kicked off but he only went and topped the leaderboard after his first performance – good work, Pete!

His early promise has faded a little though. The singer and his dance partner Janette Manrara have slipped down the rankings slightly during the past few shows and it’s causing concern for judge Craig Revel Horwood.

In fact Craig thinks that Pete, 42, could end up OUT of the competition if he doesn’t up his game soon. Yikes!

Peter Andre to share wedding video?

‘Sorry to say it but Peter’s becoming a bit of an also-ran in the competition,’ Craig, 50, tells Woman Magazine.

‘Technically, he’s very good but he needs to stand out from the crowd more.’

Uh-oh. Craig adds: ‘I’d be worried if I were him. He’s missing the “It” factor – and I want to see him fly not fail.’

We certainly don’t want to see Peter Andre make a shock early exit from the show so we hope he’s listening to Craig’s advice…

It comes after Craig criticised the dad-of-three’s rumba routine on last weekend’s show, which Pete and Janette received 29 points for.

He said that the performance was a bit ‘stompy’ at times and that it lacked certain aspects of a rumba.

Darcey Bussell also told Pete that she thought he had ‘more to give’ but the singer managed to stay positive and claimed he was ‘pleased’ with the feedback.

Pete’s clearly grateful to his fans for supporting him no matter what the judges say too…

We have every faith in you, Pete! Here’s hoping this weekend’s Halloween special of Strictly isn’t a fright fest for Mr Andre…

The TV star will be performing a foxtrot and will undoubtedly be hoping to step his way back up that leaderboard.
