Current Bond actor Daniel Craig has talked about reprising his role for a fifth movie after Spectre
Daniel Craig is a pretty good Bond if we do say so ourselves, so what he’s had to say about possible reprising his role of 007 for a fifth time after Septre, has got us feeling a bit blue.
‘I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists.’
Ouch. Bit extreme don’t you think? Even for Bond!
Speaking to Time Out magazine, the 47-year-old actor said: ‘All I want to do it move on.’
‘We’re done.’ That’s pretty blunt isn’t it?
Despite saying that though, he added that if he were going to do a fifth Bond movie, ‘it would only be for the money.’ We don’t blame him either, as he was reported to have been paid $10.7 million for Skyfall, which would make him the highest-paid Bond actor, EVER.
However, back in September, he did reveal to Event magazine that he’s contracted for one more film, but he’s ‘not going to make predictions.’
Daniel Craig’s fourth film as Bond, Spectre, comes out later this month, and bets are already underway over who will replace him as 007.
Front-runner and favourite is Luther star, Idris Elba, while Homeland actor Damian Lewis has also been mentioned.
Well, whoever it ends up bing, Daniel Craig has said to not ‘give a f**k.’
How very 007 of you!
‘Goof luck to them. All I care about is that if I stop doing these things we’ve left it in a good place and people pick it up and make it better.’
His only bit of advice to whoever takes over the Bond though? ‘Don’t be s**t.’
Daniel Craig’s not one for beating round the bush is he?
