She's been clean since 2014
Danniella Westbrook has admitted to relapsing into cocaine use after she accused her toy-boy boyfriend of ‘cheating’ on her.
The former EastEnders star has a long history battling drug use and, due to the stress of her personal life, she has unfortunately relapsed back into use.
Talking to the Daily Star Online, she said: ‘I have relapsed and I’m trying to stop using, but it’s a long road ahead. I feel broken and that I’m back to square one and my first form of defence is cocaine.’
The 42-year-old claimed yesterday that her 24-year-old boyfriend George Arnold had been cheating on her with her best friend.
The actress made the allegation on Instagram — but as since deleted the photo sharing account.
She shared a post that read: ‘Don’t do wifey s*** for a f*** boy.’
Then captioned the pic with: ‘Word to the women who bump into George Arnold. I just found out he’s been screwing my best friend. They even went to Ibiza together last weekend.’
But George refuted Danniella Westbrook’s claims on one of her posts, according to The Sun, writing: ‘No truth in this at all, there’s two sides to a coin before all you believe what you read.’
Daniella’s drug battle began after she won her role in EastEnders at the age of 16. The drug use came to public attention when, at the British Soap Awards in 200, she appeared on the red carpet with her septum missing.
She later checked into rehab before admitting she’d been clean from drugs.
However, her latest relapse was in 2014.
We hope Danniella gets all the support she needs.
