David Beckham will move into a luxury apartment in Milan in January.

The 33-year-old is to live in the Italian city during his four-month stint at AC Milan.

The multi-million loft conversion in Via Amedeo d’Aosta is close to the club’s training ground and the home of team captain Paulo Maldini.

But the Italian city’s red light district is on the doorstep.

‘Beckham’s choice is bizarre,’ ex-pat Michael Day tells The Sun.

‘His new place is a stone’s throw from where hordes of transvestites gather at night.’

Victoria, 34, and the kids will remain in LA.
