EXCLUSIVE The former rugby player makes a suggestive drug joke on Channel 4 show
He might be married to the Queen‘s granddaughter but that didn’t stop Mike Tindall making a shock drug joke on live TV.
During last night’s The Jump, the former England captain nudged fellow contestant Steve-O and pretended to mock snort ice which had been tipped on the table by presenter Davina McCall.
He is clearly heard in the background saying: ‘Steve-O, sort it out’ before making the snorting gesture.
He made the inappropriate remark while Davina, completely oblivious, was talking to camera before introducing the next clip.
Although the act was clearly meant in jest, fans took to Twitter to express their disbelief.
@rachiearcher16 tweeted ‘@miketindall13 defo “coke” joke to @steveo’, while @enders1 wrote ‘Ok so @miketindall13 just mimicked snorting coke on #The Jump @The JumpC4 #wow‘

Mike Tindall’s agent declined to comment on the on air joke, but it’s not the first time that the sportsman, who is married to Zara Phillips, has sailed close to the wind for his ‘laddish’ behaviour that is bound to cause offence in Royal circles.
During an England rugby tour in New Zealand in 2011, the 36-year-old and his team visited a club in Queenstown where a dwarf throwing contest was taking place. He later said: ‘Not one player threw a dwarf.’
During the same trip he was also spotted with his arm around a mystery blonde, though she later innocently emerged to be an old friend.
The sports star is close to Zara’s cousins – Prince William and Prince Harry (who has come under fire for his own drunken antics in the past).
Speaking about his closeness to the princes, he has said: ‘They’re great fun and I love spending time with them. Harry hits my head with his knuckles but then I put him in a headlock.
‘William’s got lots of pressure but takes it in stride. They’re charming and do things their way. That’s why it works so well.’
Last night Mike competed against Made In Chelsea‘s Louise Thompson in the slalom challenge, beating the reality star by three hundredths of a second.
As a result Louise was forced to compete in the jump against Stacey Solomon but managed to win.
On leaving the competition, Stacey told Now: ‘I’m so glad I did it and it’s the best thing I have ever done. My boys (Zachary, six, and Leighton, two) were watching me last night and just couldn’t believe that I managed the jump at the end. I’m very proud of myself.’
However, she was keen to deny rumours of a romance with Jackass star Steve-O saying: ‘We’re just friends. He is such a nice guy but at the moment I have two lovely boys and a mortgage and that’s enough for me!’
