Singer Alexandra Burke chose to go under a different name at this year’s V Festival

We all endure those moments where we just wish we’d been given a different name, and singer Alexandra Burke is no different.

Well, kind of.

At this year’s V Festival, which took place in Chelmsford, Alexandra reportedly opted for a name change, with a source revealing that she wouldn’t let anyone use her actual name.

Our insider said: ‘Alexandra didn’t want her name to be down on any lists, instead she chose to go under Lily-Rose.’

Alexandra is probably the least-diva celebrity we know but this name is certainly different to her original name!

The source also revealed that Alexandra was requesting security at the event.

Has somebody been getting a little too big for their boots?

Former X Factor winner Alexandra looked every part the a-lister at this year’s festival as she was spotted enjoying herself at the Virgin Media Louder Lounge. On Saturday she was seen wearing a super-cute white playsuit and on Sunday, Ms Burke chose something a little more naughty as she donned a see-through black top, ripped black jeans and a Khaki green coat.

Alex was also sporting huge sunnies – was she trying to hide?

The star shared a number of photos from the weekend including one with two friends alongside the caption:

‘Loving life #VFestival.’
It was definitely a great weekend for Alexandra AKA Lily-Rose, who celebrated her 27th birthday on Tuesday.

The singer shared a photo on social media of two candles, a ‘2’ and a ‘7’ alongside the words: ‘IT’S MY BIRTHDAY !!!!!!! .’

It seems as though the lovely Alexandra is taking a break from music these days and has taken up an acting role in the West End production of The Bodyguard.

She previously revealed: ‘I’ve never had a proper job my whole life. I sang in pubs, clubs and bar mitzvahs just to gain experience. My first proper job is now acting in The Bodyguard.’
