The McFly boybander is glad he went to the Priory

Dougie Poynter doesn’t regret checking into rehab.

The McFly bass guitar player, who was devastated by his split from Frankie Sandford, left the Priory last week and went straight on the band’s Above The Noise tour.

‘It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done in my whole life,’ says Dougie, 23.

‘I’m still me but it’s definitely been very positive. I don’t know how I’ve changed. I try not to really think too much about it.

‘It’s all been a bit strange. The only people I’ve seen have been my mum, my nan and these guys.’

Dougie appreciates all the supportive messages he’s been getting on the web.

‘On the internet everyone’s been cool,’ he tells the News Of The World. ‘That feedback has been awesome.’

Dougie Tweeted to his followers: ‘Thanks for all your support, really means allot x.

‘Now can we get back to tweeting about boobs, d*cks and farts?’
