You read that right, Abbey Clancy and YouTube star Zoella have become kitchen pals for Comic Relief
Yup, the two stars are going head-to-head in the kitchen for the Great Comic Relief Bake Off, which kicks off next Wednesday, 11 February.
You did read that right! Our favourite show is back and this time, the Comic Relief charity version comes with an amazing celebrity line-up.
Speaking about her part on the show, 24-year-old Zoella revealed: ‘I was genuinely a little bit shocked and very excited when I was asked to take part.’
Eeek! We. Can’t. wait.
With four fantastic episodes to keep us well and truly hooked to our baking tins, this special series is still hosted by Mel and Sue with judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry putting the celebrities through their cooking paces!
So who can you expect to see?
Actresses Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders, singer Lulu and drag-queen Dame Edna Everage all battle-it off in the Bake Off kitchen making giant biscuits and chocolate cakes.
And finally, actors Michael Sheen and David Mitchell, campaigner Sarah Brown and TV presenter Jameela Jamil are set the task of baking shortbread and pavlovas.
Phew. Anyone else drooling?!
Cake-making pro Mary Berry, 79, revealed that the celebs weren’t always up-to-scratch in the kitchen.
‘They have no idea how much mixture goes in a tin, what they’re looking for. They wing it all the way through,’ said Mary, adding: ‘Although there were some baking catastrophes, some surprising hidden skills were revealed.’
Tune in for the first episode next Wednesday at 8pm on BBC1.
