Supermodel puts her Notting Hill home on the market

Elle Macpherson has sparked speculation she intends to quit the UK after a friend revealed she finds living in London too hectic.

She has recently put her Notting Hill home up for sale, meaning she could leave as soon as it’s sold.

The supermodel, who has been living in London for nearly 10 years, is said to be planning to move back to her native Australia.

‘Elle has had enough of living in London. She just finds it too busy,’ says a friend. ‘She has decided she wants to move back to Australia for a more simple life.’

Elle, 45, bought her £8m townhouse in 2006 and has been living there with sons Flynn, 9, and Aurelius Cy, 4. She split from their father Arpad Busson in 2005.

‘She spent a fortune making the house bespoke, but has decided to sell it,’ the source tells the Mail On Sunday. ‘Estate agents have been round and auctioneers have been in to value all the furniture. It’s all happening.’

Elle’s spokesperson refused to comment.
